We are sorry to have to inform you about the decease of Mr. Jose Antonio Garcia Moya, president and founder of our company. Mr. Jose Antonio devoted his life to his family and to the development of his company of natural stone. He will always be remembered, in all aspects of his life, as a benevolent and industrious man. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Thursday 17th July, at 12.00 a.m. at the paris church of Nuestra Señora de Gracia in Alicante. After this, he will be moved to the graveyard of la Romana were he will be buried. (House of mourning: Tanatorio La Siempreviva, room no. 8, ctra. Madrid, Alicante). Mr. Jose Antonio Garcia Moya was born in La Romana, Alicante, the 26th November 1925. In 1956 he founded his company, devoted to the extraction, production and commercialization of natural stone, having his own quarries of the most important and known materials of Alicante. He was pioneer, in many different ways, in this sector and his trail was followed by different companies that today make the natural stone sector of Alicante. His path was characterized by his vision of future, being one of the first companies that started commercializing at an international level, and he introduced different novelties in the production of natural stone. He was deeply involved in the natural stone industry. For this reason, he occupied important positions in business associations such as the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante, Asociacion de la Empresa Familiar, Federación Española de la Piedra Natural or Coepa among others. We must point out that we was President of the Asociacion Marmol de Alicante for 5 years. He will be remembered by all the people that have had the chance to know and work with him.
